We didn’t start Mates Tastes because you can't manage a BBQ

We started it because organising food for a group is… a lot.

You know the drill.
You suggest a catch-up, everyone says “sounds great,” and suddenly you’re the organiser.
You’re chasing RSVPs, figuring out who’s actually coming, doing mental maths on who’s paid, and trying to remember if Jess is gluten-free or just avoiding carbs this week. And no matter what, you'll end up out of pocket and with an excess of pumpkin sausages the world really didn't need sitting in your fridge.

And there’s always a Dazza.
He hasn’t replied. He hasn’t paid. But he will show up. Hungry.

Somewhere between the group chat chaos and the supermarket run you didn’t plan, it stops being fun… and starts feeling like admin.
